Attendance Support Officer for 2024
Our school is part of a new project trialling a School Attendance Support Officer (ASO) this year.
Ten selected primary schools across the state are part of this project, where we have employed an ASO to focus on increasing attendance and connection with families. The ASO will start in term 1 2024 and will be part of the team for the entire school year.
You may see or hear from our new ASO who is here to help connect with students and families.
This project will help the Department for Education understand how they can better support families, carers, students and schools with attendance.
