How to help your child

Here's how you can help your child...

  • Put up zone visuals and tools in your home.
  • Talk to your child about how they are feeling and help them to name the emotion.
  • Discuss why they might be feeling that way.
  • Talk about body cues that help us to recognise how we might be feeling.
  • Talk with your child about what tools they could use to help them move zones.
  • Give your child positive feedback when they share with you the zone they may
    be in.
